Israel commits a massacre in #Rafah this evening, dropping several 2,000 pound bombs on civilian tents and #UN compounds, murdering dozens of civilians seeking shelter. This was Israel’s response to the CIJ_ICJ ruling Friday that it must halt its offensive on Rafah.

If the massacre in Rafah — genocidal bombing of refugee tents — was anywhere else, Western governments would demand No Fly Zones, sanctions and trade embargo.

But they will be silent. Just as they have been silent for 7-months.

Unforgivable. There must be justice.

We need rent controls because without them landlords charge near monopoly rents because you can't walk across the street & rent an empty flat when you like.

Increasing supply alone will not be enough to make housing affordable.
