You know how you don't want to spend too much time looking at certain posts (because algo), but sometimes you just can't help it. Yea.

This is why I think going down the path of maximally decentralized L2s/sequencers isn't worth the squeeze. a.) Re-introduces L1 MEV headwinds b.) Requires consensus (read: lowers performance) c.) Lacks natural incentives for L2 teams Thicc sequencers and PoA.

Not the same. If people want to express bullishness for an L2, even those without tokens (Base), they don't think "I need ETH" - they look for L2 tokens (even if not directly correlated to activity). People buy OP for Base. People buy ARB for Arbitrum. They use ETH for

Much closer aligned to Vitalik's priorities than Drake's. Decentralizing the sequencer feels wasteful as an objective given the rest of the landscape. Lean in to architecture enabled *because* you're an L2 (Eclipse, MegaETH, Taiko) Recreating the L1 is fool hardy

Best in the game for L2 data viz. Side note: also super receptive to feedback. mseidl.eth | growthepie.xyz πŸ₯§πŸ“ whipped up a modified API endpoint for me in like 30min. True kings.

ETH head pivot to "L1 user fees don't matter - ETH is L2 money" is pretty funny given a core thesis behind L2 roadmap was that L2s would *become* the users. It was always the bull case, but now doesn't matter because we're seeing that a single L2 can absorb a million users and

Since we like pies around here, a TLDR: > L2s eating outward users, but also inward > Singular L2s are displaying powerlaw effects. No reason to assume this slows or stops. I do want to note that L2s aren't "bad guys" here - it's just how the structure is playing out.

inb4 people spread this as the actual ETF (not futures) being shut down Despite the outflows, a reminder that ETH ETFs (again; not futures) along with BTC are some of the best performing ETFs of all time Obviously it'd be better if futures were in-demand, but not a death knell

Shitpost virality is so obscure to me. Account post getting millions of views, thousands of likes and infinite response > Sub 1k followers. You *know* tens of thousands clicked the profile and just said "lol nah" Have to balance the contributions.
