Darleen Tana’s lawyers have filed documents in the Auckland High Court seeking a judicial review in regard to the proposed meeting of Green Party members on Sunday to decide whether to invoke the ‘Waka-Jumping’ legislation against Tana. The hearing will occur at 10am tomorrow.

Kiingi Tuheitia Pootatau Te Wherowhero VII, the Māori King and head of Te Kiingitanga, has died. Kiingi Tuheitia died peacefully this morning following complications from heart surgery.

Nga Wai Hono i te Po, the only daughter of Kiingi Tuheitia, has been announced as the next Māori Monarch.
