A no-win scenario for Gardaí - having people withdraw €1k with no indication from BoI of solution definitely could have had safety issues in queues, but in PR context of the last few weeks it's a bad look.

Last Sunday was centenary of unveiling of Dublin's Cenotaph
Built on the grounds of Leinster House, the monument was in honour of Arthur Griffith and General Michael Collins who had both died a year earlier - it later also commemorated Kevin O'Higgins
