Some people pointed out that in previous years, Day2 players got to skip an entire day. This never felt good to me either, but at least it was communicated transparently unlike the resistance part. Also in Day2 everyone had the same conditions no matter how they made it there.

I really like the updates! No byes at worlds is the right call imo. Also with the reduced Championship Points payout for ICs and the reduced BFL, a worlds invite feels much more attainable with attending only 1 IC!
