@4taxfairness

We’re fighting to build an economy that works for all of us by making the wealthy and corporations pay their fair share in taxes.

Defunding Social Security is the opposite of protecting it. Making the wealthy pay their fair share? Now that would protect Social Security forever.

Project 2025 & House Republican policy agendas share common threads: drive up poverty & # of people without health coverage, disinvest in people, communities & the economy overall, & double down on tax cuts for wealthy & large corporations. See new CBPP analysis ⬇️

If you paid a penny in federal income taxes this year, you paid more than: Amazon in 2018 Nike in 2020 Boeing from 2018-2022 Starbucks in 2018 Tesla from 2018-2022 FedEx in 2020 T-Mobile from 2018-2022 Giant corporations shouldn't pay lower tax rates than their workers. Period.

Social Security belongs to working Americans, not Wall Street tax cheats. Let’s start making the ultra-wealthy pay their fair share so we can protect and expand benefits for current and future generations.

Did you know that we're all subsidizing giant corporations' union-busting efforts? Right now, corporations are allowed to deduct the cost of anti-union pressure tactics on their taxes. We really, really need to build a tax code that works for working families, not just the 1%.
