Such an important report by Maternal Mental Health Alliance & REFORM sharing the stories of women who have experienced child removal. Such helpful learning that will go into our @DCPperinatal report we are codeveloping on what fully funded & staffed #MaternalMentalHealthServices should look like.

These tragic new statistics are alarming but sadly unsurprising. We know from MBRRACE UK that suicide is still the leading cause of maternal death in the first postnatal year; a particularly high-risk time for dads too. More must be done to reverse the trends weāre seeing.
