⚾️: Norfolk Academy 4, Walsingham Academy 0. Coach Tim LaVigne's 100th victory was the Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools championship game. CJ Murray pitched a shutout, and Matt Camardella had two hits and scored twice.

Girls⚽️: #5 Norfolk Academy 2, Steward 0. The top-seeded Bulldogs won the TCIS Tournament over the second-seeded Spartans on goals by Addy Hennessy and Maria Delyannis, completing a repeat of regular-season and tourney titles.

Boys🎾: TCIS Tournament: Norfolk Academy went unbeaten for the day and took a runaway lead in competition among seven teams. Play will resume at 9 a.m. Saturday at Huntington Park in Newport News with the finals in nine brackets.

Boys⚽️: #3 Landstown 4, First Colonial 0. Ryan Walsh, Shaban Kilci and Kamar Wilson scored for the Eagles, who capitalized on an FC own goal.

Boys⚽️: #1 Great Bridge 6, Churchland 0. Jack Ottley had two goals and two assists, and Carson Danner provided a goal and an assist.

Girls🥍: TCIS Tournament final: Cape Henry 8, Norfolk Academy 7, OT. The Dolphins overcame a 7-2 halftime deficit to edge the Bulldogs. TCIS Player of the Year Madeleine Keogh found a seam to score the overtime winner.

Boys⚽️: Maury 2, Northampton 1. Cam Sadr headed in a Frank Morgan corner kick in the first overtime for the winning goal.
