Thrilled to be coordinating the in-service teacher graduate program at University of North Georgia (Masters in Curriculum and Instruction). This week kicked off the School of Ed Technology Summit. Added bonus was sharing space with Brian Buffington. A reminder of my “why” ❤️

Today marked a special PL presenting on Visual Literacy w/ Hall County teachers. I visited my alma mater (West Hall High) & my middle school art teacher attended my training. She is still a ray of love & joy, just as I remembered. Full circle moment; no place like home.❤️

Tis the season for pre-planning PL! Cobb K-12 Visual Art teachers pARTner with Shannon Green. We took inspiration from Maria Bartuszova and Bob Clyatt and created relief tiles incorporating symbols to represent self. We painted plaster dipped flowers and balloon sculptures!

Thrilled to be partnering with Oakland Cemetery to write & produce the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s fall Family program & ‘Students at the Symphony’ concerts. Fun morning meeting the residents dating back from 1850 to present-day! So many amazing stories to explore.

Arnold Lobel’s Owl at Home was beautifully adapted by Center for Puppetry Arts! My daughter has always enjoyed Lobel’s early readers & she kept whispering in my ear what happens next. She was also excited that her next visit to the Center, she would see Mommy’s show “Pancho”.

So much fun being back and on my feet with these amazing Cobb teachers.
