People who think we have £4 trillion to spare to spend on net zero ought to stay silent on unfunded spending commitments.

This is utter bullshit.

To think we once intoned words like “disinformation” and “content moderation” and assigned real value to them and actually had an entire cadre of academics and professionals assigned to stamping out the former with the latter.

What idiocy that all was.

If Gavin Newsom cares about democracy as much as he proclaims, why is he asking the California Supreme Court to block a voter initiative that would limit Sacramento’s power to raise taxes? wsj.com/articles/gavin… via Wall Street Journal Opinion

Tragic day! Many civilians killed. Its complicated but the coverage is baffling @Bbcworld @bbcnews r not reporting plentiful footage posted by Hamas itself: housetohouse killings of women kids, hostages paraded, naked bodies desecrated b4 crowds, yet only debating Israeli response...

Surely the Breaking News was:
Gaza launches thousands of missiles into Israel

And then:
Palestinian gunmen terrorise and indiscriminately slaughter civilians by shooting, beheading, hanging, kidnapping, and parading the naked torsos of Israeli soldiers through the streets..

All day we've seen it. Not hidden. Indiscriminate/performative atrocities, open humiliation of innocent civilians, all-out invasion, Islamification of anti-Israel forces. This is no more a defensive war of liberation by Hamas than barbarity/nihilism of ISIS & still many excuse...

The U.K. is a European lynchpin in NATO, the Royal Air Force provides strategic air defence/fighter coverage/intercept for Ireland that spends 5.9 billion a year on NGOs & 1.2 billion a year on defence (hence air defence outsourced to U.K.). I could go on but it’s a long list.

My theory: Because you don’t care about the slaughter in Ukraine and are too dumb to understand that just because you don’t look for videos from Ukraine that doesn’t mean they don’t exist.
