Today marks the anniversary of the killing of George Floyd in the US. Clearly there is still much work to be done to overcome systemic barriers of racism that exist in the world. It will take leadership - from all areas of society.

I share everyone's grief at the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. She was an integral part of my life since I moved to the UK 24 years ago. It will be hard to imagine life here in the UK without Her Majesty at the helm. Thank you Your Majesty, for your leadership. RIP.

What happens when over a hundred @Common Purpose ‘bees’ from different parts of the world comes together? We make honey! This week as we gathered as a global and connected team. We bridged gaps, kept each other warm/cold, communicated, listened and most importantly, learnt!

We discovered and rediscovered our purpose, appreciated the amazing talent that’s us and embarked on a journey to express our values and culture. We opened up ourselves and this organization in ways we hadn’t done before!

We crossed boundaries, and put inclusion and collaboration at the heart of everything we did this week, in the context of Istanbul as well as the conversations we were having.
