So who do we put first, the adults who want to drive, or the 3 year olds who want to be able to cross the road safely?

Driving has been sold as a thrill and a party for 100 years. I don’t know about you but if the parties I attended were the leading cause of death of children aged 5-29 I probably wouldn’t be celebrating.

The annual number of people killed, maimed and traumatised in road crashes is horrific.

But what is truly awful is the complete LACK OF URGENCY to stop this decades-long pattern of violence.

Devastated to hear that the Mayor will be ripping out the school street scheme around Chisenhale Primary School on Monday.

This scheme was designed to protect our borough's children from air pollution and cars.

A shameful and irresponsible act.
