The previous (and actually the first) time I arrived in Braunschweig on 11.03.2020 for the CAMI Challenge workshop and it was pretty hard to get back from there 😷 But scientifically both events were fantastic!

Just had a fantastic day at #ISMBECCB2023! Despite technical hiccups (understandable after the pandemic years 😁), reconnecting with numerous collaborators and former colleagues from Ex Center for Algorithmic Biotechnology Universität Tübingen was a joy. And some talks were truly inspiring! 🙌

The second and the final seminar day. Four more multi-omics papers were discussed in detail. This time all of them were not about new tools but rather about applying established #bioinformatics software to answer challenging #naturalproducts discovery questions 🦾

Thanks to #VAAM_NP I finally managed to meet Marnix Medema in person! Roughly five years after he served in my PhD thesis committee🧑‍🎓 (as an online foreign Professor)
