ON THIS DAY: In 1962, a 20-year-old Muhammad Ali would earn his 13th straight victory after facing George Logan in LA. The fight stopped in four rounds after Logan's team through in the towel 1 minute and 34 seconds in.

Today we observe National Former Prisoner of War Recognition Day

Many don't know, Muhammad Ali traveled to the Middle East several times to free POW's and hostages, including a trip in August 1990 where he secured the release of 15 Americans being held by Saddam Hussein.
