With all those rocky environment, in the middle of a maze of giant granite boulders, some Iron Age round houses emerge from the woods in Os Castelos hillfort (Entrimo, ). When you visit it, you have a strange feeling of moving inside a videogame.

For the oldest known relief: It was carved in mammoth ivory some 40,000 years ago and depicts a figure with raised arms (and an animal tail?). The figure has been identified as a worshipper as well as a man. Found in the Geißenklösterle...1/2

One pair of bronze lurs were found in the Revheims bog near Stavanger in Norway. Near the find is Fluberget, petroglyps carved into a wall. The real sound of the lurs can be hear in our exhibition, as they were played on 50 years to record the sounds.
