What impact do hot flashes have on sleep in menopausal women? Among women in our The National Institute on Aging (NIA) FRAN trial, hot flashes were the most frequently reported reason for awakenings. doi.org/10.1016/j.ajog… Based on night-by-night diaries, reduction in hot flashes = improvement in sleep.
