This #Eid2024 , I’m returning to this poem by Mahmoud Darwish and my prayers are with those deeply suffering around the world, from Gaza to Sudan to the U.S.-Mexico border.

All I want for Eid is a ceasefire in Gaza.

Every 6 months or so, I find myself revisiting and reflecting on this quote by Nina Simone. I’ve found that, in order to push forward, I have to regularly find time to reconnect with myself and my purpose.
