So very sorry to hear that David Rowe-Beddoe has died. He was a friend and mentor. A true champion of Wales and had a significant impact on the Welsh economy. I met him regularly for advice on economic policy. He was a master in attracting FDI to Wales and the UK.

Chancellor has given a major boost to pubs & brewers. Welcomed by publicans & gives confidence to invest. This is exactly what I called for as Chair of the All Party Beer Group- backed by scores of MPs. Freezing duty & reducing business rates by 75% is a winner for beer drinkers.
