We are currently participating in the final roundtable discussion on #Sustainable #Wildlife Use and IPLC Rights in Limpopo, in partnership with the University of Venda. Our aim is to develop a roadmap for IPLC rights in wildlife use, with a specific focus on South Africa.

Recently published and open access: Spatiotemporal patterns of lion space use. Some strong patterns, despite ~few physical barriers. A follow-up on lion fence ecology is coming soon!

The AfOx KTPS fellowship provides 4-year funding for stipend, tuition, lab expenses, training, and conference travel. It includes a yearly return flight to Africa, mentoring, social activities, and partnerships with colleges.
