Touch sensation requires the mechanically gated ion channel ELKIN1 | Science science.org/doi/10.1126/sc… Super proud to present our latest work led by Sam Sampurna Chakrabarti , we identified ELKIN1 as necessary for normal touch sensation in mice and in human sensory neurons too!
