A mob went after my brother in 2020. He kept his job but lost his sense of security. These people are human and deserve our love. All of them. I see my brother in all of them the pariah and the mob.

I prefer “turn the other cheek”. But if vengeful Old Testament God is your style, it’s still just “an eye for an eye.” Not your livelihood and security for an insensitive social media post.
