We visited Purbashripatinagar, a remote village in Sundarbans. We have now reached out to 1180 families in 10 villages! We not only distributed essentials, but also conducted an assessment and survey led by IDIA Scholar Jiyarul who is from the same village bit.ly/covid-idia

The assessment involved ascertaining the needs of the villagers before the distribution. We are conducting a survey to understand the possible future economic activities for them. We also spoke to them about preventive measures for #Covid19, getting government ration and IDs etc.
