Thx to the Senate Housing Committee for passing my bill, #AB2967 , which expands the Teacher Housing Act. It would make teachers/employees of publicly-funded early childhood, TK & afterschool programs eligible for teacher housing. They too are a vital part of our education system.

Starting this week, the DMV will no longer offer some services in-person & can only be done online. Including:

🚙 Vehicle registration renewals that are not past due
🪪 Most driver's license renewals

My bill, #AB2359 , gets its 1st approval in the Senate from the Govt Organization Committee. In the hopes of stimulating San Francisco’s economy, the proposal increases the number of neighborhood liquor licenses allowed in some of the city’s outer corridors.

District Traffic Alert: Starting tomorrow 5/29, major pothole & pavement repairs will get underway on 19th Ave, btwn Sloat & Taraval, in San Francisco. That means 2 northbound lanes will be closed 9 am-3pm. Plan for delays since only one lane will remain open thru Friday 5/31.
