Cheeto pitched a complete game, giving up just 1 run on 2 hits while notching 11 K's, and the Cats are in the Region 2 Championship game for the second year in a row. They'll play the Central-Farragut winner at 11:00 tomorrow morning at Farragut.

Cats start the Region 2 Tournament at 1:30 this afternoon v. Maryville. ⚾️

Soccercats beat Powell in the District 3 Semifinal tonight at home. Cats took 19 shots to Powell's 4. Emmett scored at 25:38 in the 1st, followed by Eli at 17:48 and Nate at 3:39. Next up: District Championship here at home on Saturday, time and opponent TBD.

After a long lightning delay in the bottom of the 7th, Cats finally won their 1st District 3 Tournament in more than 20 years tonight, beating Central 5-4 at Tommy Schumpert Park. 🏆

Coach Gorman: “Daniel has been integral to our team's success for 4 years. He's played everywhere for us and excelled at each spot. Daniel is a great player and an even better person. But I hear Coach Burr would whip him in pickleball.”

Billy will finish a rained-delayed District semi this afternoon. On Friday he lost the first set but has a 3-0 lead in the second. The championship match will follow. 🎾
