This week John Oliver discussed Medicaid work requirement programs (like GA Pathways) and how poorly they perform.

Arkansas in fact suspended its work requirement after < 1 year and has since fully expanded Medicaid.

But here in GA, apparently ego and intransigence trump facts.

Despite the name and how remote it looks, this is actually quite an easy hike, and even has a boardwalk-style wood path to make it more accessible to those with mobility issues!

As Gov. Kemp has now ruled out Medicaid Expansion in 2025 and likely for the rest of his term, we can now admit that the Medicaid study “Commission” delineated in #HB1339 is precisely what it appeared to be: 𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜.
