Hegra, or Mada'in Salih, is an archaeological site within the Al Madinah region in Hejaz, Saudi Arabia. Most of the remains date back to the Nabataean kingdom (1st century AD). The site constitutes the southernmost and largest settlement in the kingdom after its capital Petra.
