ASU is:
- 7-2 in regular season non-conference games under Herm Edwards

- 6-0 in non-conference home games under Herm Edwards

- 15-0 against FCS opponents since the start of the 2000 season

- 5-0 in that period against NAU

Worth noting that ASU's D led the Pac-12 last year in:

- Scoring defense (22nd in FBS)
- Yards/game (13th)
- Yards/play (17th)

Can ASU clean up their act?

In 2021, Devils were 2-3 when committing 10+ penalties, 6-2 when committing less than 10.

113 penalties last year were the program's most since 2005.
