EcoMet Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry will be at #EGU24! Laura Nadolski will have first EGU presence on multiscale CO2 flux (meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU24/EGU24-11…). Sinikka Paulus will show advances on non rainfall water (meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU24/EGU24-11…). I’ll co-convene BG1.8, present #CBLUES at TM20, and talk about outreach at TM1.

We show that during nighttime periods of low atmospheric humidity, Eddy Covariance captures soil water adsorption as detected by lysimeters. This way, there is potential for investigating adsorption in more climate regions thanks to the greater abundance of EC measurements.

Yesterday BGC Field Experiments and Judith did the maiden voyage with the #BlueMinerva #BlueRobotics for Q-Arctic with self developed chamber system based on Vaisala GMP343, YSI, a Xylem brand EXO2 and Campbell Scientific Europe data logging plus many more meteo sensors. First #CO2Fluxes look good!
