Found this fabulous wall in Sidmouth on yesterday's #NewYearPlantHunt . As well as the usual suspects, Mexican Fleabane, Ivy-leaved Toadflax, and Trailing Bellflower. I also found Pink Persicaria- Persicaria capitata and Mexican Cigar Plant- Cuphea ignea! BSBI: Botanical Society of Britain & Ireland
Eight intrepid botanists & 41 species found in flower during today’s rather wet #NewYearPlantHunt Leatherhead Surrey today. Erophila verna Common Whitlow-grass, Lamium purpureum Red Dead-nettle & Ficaria verna Lesser Celandine. River Mole very high! #urbanbotany

We clocked up an impressive 41 species in flower today during our #NewYearPlantHunt BSBI: Botanical Society of Britain & Ireland in Stirling city centre. Could ours be the longest list in Scotland this year?!? A great day out with a super bunch of folks; thanks Matt Harding BSBI Scotland!🤩🥳👀
Day Two of #NewYearPlantHunt : botanists of all ages were out in force, hunting in groups, with friends & family or going solo.

There were plenty of tiny plants on our #NewYearPlantHunt , including Field Madder, Field Woundwort, Common Whitlowgrass & Danish Scurvygrass.
