Second session of the The Euro-#Mediterranean summit of Economic & Social Councils & Similar institutions was about involving #youth in participatory processes in the world of #work with interventions from the ATUC and #BUSINESSMED presenting their view and actions.

ENDof day 1: Restitution of the #workshop #conclusions and exchanges where participants presented the main recommendations developed. We will be back tomorrow for the activities of day 2 of The Euro-#Mediterranean summit of Economic & Social Councils & Similar institutions.

Second day of the The Euro-#Mediterranean summit of Economic & Social Councils & Similar institutions happening right now in Sliema - Malta 🇲🇹, with opening remarks preparing the two sessions of the day: "Climate changes and water politics" 🌍& "Migration and skills" 👨‍🔧

DAY 2: During the session "Climate changes & water politics", panelists explored ways to mitigate the effects of #climateChange and to empower #youth, women and local communities in the context of 🌡️ fast-rising temperatures, 🌊water scarcity and #desertification.

DAY 2: the session " Migration & skills " analysed the potential of #migration & addressed #labour & #skills shortages in a way that benefits origin & destination countries. Participants explored how to facilitate the access of migrants to #trainings and #apprenticeships.
