Just like all the other 12 Sub-counties, revamping the health sector of Butere Sub-County is our top priority.

The County Government of Kakamega, including the County Assembly, will not allow external parties to dictate how it runs its affairs.

Hosted the Abashitsetse elders from Matungu Sub-county at my Harambee residence this morning to discuss economic empowerment initiatives including our Social Protection Grants program; Low- interest microfinance loans; Representation; and, Job creation.

Today I condoled with the family of Mzee Stephen Shiundu Olunga of Bulechia village, East Wanga Ward. I used the opportunity to reiterate my commitment to fast track development projects in the area starting with Shianda Level IV hospital.

Met with Bodaboda chairmen drawn from the 12 sub counties, and the county chair at my office this morning where we discussed collaboration between the County Government of Kakamega and the boda boda sector.
