Today at the Brisbane 2032 Legacy Forum, I will announce plans to build a world-leading facility to be built at UQ St Lucia campus. We’re supporting this project as the place our para-athletes will train in the lead-up in the 2032 Games.

#UQ joined Queensland Government today to proudly announce support for a world-leading Paralympic Centre of Excellence at our St Lucia campus. We’ll work with @AusParalympics and government on design concepts to ensure the centre is fully accessible and aim to start construction in 2-3 years.

The Paralympic Centre of Excellence will foster our Paralympians in 20 sports, increase grassroots para-sports participation, and create an important legacy for Queensland, and people with disabilities. bit.ly/40uVbl7
