It was history. Black music always emerges in spite of censorship, leaving faint tracks in the earth for the generations who follow.❤️

There's some much beauty in that Stormzy video though. The last bit. The poem. The significance given that we are about to go into Black History Month. The mix of forefathers and new ground breakers. The deliberate focus on black joy instead of pain. I love it. So pure ❤️

A big ❤️, a cardboard box and a mirror is all Mr. Walker used. No great expense to make students feel valued and SEEN! Teachers, get to know each student, build relationships, make them feel welcome in any space they occupy, give them voice. I promise they will do the rest 🇯🇲

I set up page a couple of weeks ago but haven't had much time to push it due to reporting/work etc. God bless the 28 backers who have contributed already. These 'Barrel Children' stories are important and should be done more justice. Look forward to seeing this project through!
