Inflation continues to decline and unemployment is at historically low levels. President Biden' economic plan is working as we move to stable economic growth after the pandemic.

The last thing we need is Congressional Republicans causing a debt default for the first time in history.

Without knowing what the charges are, it is impossible to intelligently comment on the apparent criminal indictment of Donald J. Trump. Whatever the charges may be, he is constitutionally entitled to a presumption of innocence. We should wait for further developments.

Republicans lecture Democrats about fiscal responsibility, yet for the last 50 years every GOP administration has exploded the deficit. Every Democratic administration since JFK has left a better deficit situation than the one they inherited.

With a Democrat in the White House, Republicans have decided to care about deficits again. While the House Republicans continues to push tax cuts for the rich and budget cuts for working families, House Budget Committee Democrats have better ideas for how we can cut the deficit.
