Orson Welles was born OTD in 1915. He made his acting debut at the Gate Theatre in Dublin in 1931, when he was only 16. Micheál Mac Liammóir described his audition:

I am an admirer of the Polish-born Citkowitz’s art songs, which treat their texts with great respect—a poet’s touch. Unsurprising, as he himself published some admirable verses, such as this, from the September 1934 issue of POETRY magazine.
