Strong recommend. ⁦Clare Chambers⁩ SHY CREATURES is so beautifully written, brilliantly structured and its characters so nuanced, truthfully drawn and flawed. I miss them all already. SMALL PLEASURES was a hard act to follow but she has done it. My book of the year so far.
