This morning Pacific officials and Japanese counterparts met in #Tokyo to finalise the #PALM10 Declaration which will be considered by Leaders on Thursday. #ALPS treated water release remains a high priority and a briefing on latest developments was provided by Japan.

Senior Officials and Secretariat staff commemorated the National days for 🇨🇰 and 🇻🇺 today. Ms Tepaeru Herrmann, Secretary of Cook Islands Foreign Affairs & Immigration and H.E Viranria Brown, Vanuatu’s High Commissioner to Fiji provided remarks at the gathering. #OneBluePacific #Pacific2050

Glad to see Cook Island joining the High Ambition Coalition to End Plastic pollution co-chaired by Norway and Rwanda.
