There are few people as enthusiastic and kind in politics as Robert Robert Hanna.

Well deserved recognition and great highlight for a 10 out of 10 Legislative staffer. Proud to serve alongside this talent!

Thanks again Capitol Weekly for facilitating this discussion.

Journalism is struggling right now, and instead of lamenting how things used to be, we need to adapt and move forward.

Grateful for colleagues who are committed to showing up every day and doing the hard work.

No, Legislative/Admin comms staff and I aren't punching each other in the face at the capitol. NONE of this is personal.

We share the goal of informing the public, but it's been tough for journalists to do it in California. Thanks again Capitol Weekly.

The concern I raised at the event: the bias toward conflict in politics and government coverage is a serious problem. It’s context, not conflict, that citizens need to participate in democracy. Having been on the outside of daily news these 23 months, I see it more than ever.
