Why is this only trending in Australia? I don't want to be overly sociological about this, but surely it's a massive global phenomenon?

Just came across something I wrote in 2005. Turns out I was half right, at least.

Looking at qualitative process evaluations of complex intervention studies and implementation projects, it's often striking how uninformative they are. Sometimes, it's not at all clear whether the intervention 'worked' or whether the implementation was 'successful'. I wonder why.
