We absolutely loved the Easter bonnets on parade yesterday. It was a special occasion to see everyone come together for the afternoon before we broke up for the Easter holidays. Well done to all the winners in each class. Enjoy your Easter holidays!!

The Priory Catholic Playgroup is grateful for the Easter donation made by Kathryn and Dave Boam - owners of The Dog and Parrot. The pub and its customers have raised £300 and donated Easter eggs for each child at the playgroup. A huge thank you for your help!

Three pupils from Walsingham class visited St John this morning for a coffee morning with Mrs Taylor. We are really proud of how well they represented the school. Well done and thank you!

KS2 had a lovely day on our Beauvale Pilgrimage today. We remembered Saint John Houghton and Saint Robert Lawrence. We also prayed for Rachel McDaid and thank you for your kind donations. KS1 held their own Mass in school to mark the day too!

Recently, Iona have had two special visitors, Jude and Jessie, who spoke to them about managing big emotions such as anger. We learnt about different breathing techniques and heard some lovely stories that teach us how to ask for help. We had a go at finger breathing too.

, as Father Paul leads us in prayer. Our service on behalf of Owen, Alfie and Isaac, and wider family and friends will allow us to come together as a Parish/School/Eastwood Community, to remember Rachel as we plant a cherry blossom tree and bless her memorial bench...

A huge well done to our Y5/6 class for their hard work in the musical production of Joseph. All the hard work paid off and a great performance was undertaken on Thursday by all!!

Today, Y6 celebrated their time at the Priory with a Leavers Mass at Church. Thank you to all the parents and Y4 and 5 who joined us too.

We ended the academic year with a lovely end of year Mass to celebrate Canon Paul’s 35 years of being a priest. Thank you for everything and to everyone who came and celebrated with us!
