If you ever needed a sign of the hypocrisy of the EU.

Nine EU member states are to meet up to form a coalition, to demand the EU take action against the UK regarding protecting its fisheries against harmful fishing practices.

This UK-Ireland just keeps getting weirder.

The FT are now saying that there is a deal in place, and has been since November 2020 - but no one seems to be able to name what this deal is, where it is written down, what it says.

Can *anyone* find it?

Stewart: 'The State now spends £43,000 per household – on exactly what?

Just imagine if, when you were in your 20’s, instead of paying tax you put the money into a fund to pay for all the services you might need. I’ll wager you would get a mightily better service at a fraction

💥 latest estimates suggest that the euro area exited in Q1, with rising 0.3% q/q (revised data show falls of 0.1% in both Q3 and Q4 last year) 👇

Even positive at +0.2%, though this failed to reverse a 0.5% contraction in Q4.

📢 'chart of the day' 🤓

UK prices are still rising at an annual rate of 4% in the latest CPI, but producer input price in this sector has now been negative for five successive months.

This should continue to feed through to the shops, with the usual lags 👇

A week ago the Tory candidate for London mayor raised the machete crisis in London.

Sadiq khan’s response? “I think the Tory candidate should stop watching The Wire.”

He doesn’t care. He thinks it’s a big joke. These words are utterly hollow.

Good Morning!

Well I said it was going to be a busy week! Humza resigns and Labour makes libellous lies in a campaign video, and we are only on Tuesday!

So before the world sets ablaze again, the next hour has some that might not be getting through the noise.
