Today, we're honoring 60 years of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. It prohibited discrimination in public places and employment and declared integration of schools and public facilities. As transformative as the CRA was, in 2024 we are still fighting to fulfill its promise.

Today, on Nelson Mandela’s birthday (July 18), we're joining Unlock The Box Campaign for 'States of Solitary' in DC! This artivism event will combine artistic expression with action to amplify the ongoing humanitarian crisis that is solitary confinement.
