Today was my hero’s 80th birthday. Diane Marie LaMarca was widowed at 25 years old with two sons. I am so grateful every day for what she did over the next 20 years and I’m here because of it. Today we honored Mom and her late husband for giving us life and love. #ThankYou !

I was honored to run the My Safe Florida Home bill this year for the second year. I’m happy to announce that the bill was signed into law today by Ron DeSantis. The program this year has a few changes from last year with an additional $200,000,000 in new program funding.

This morning was the 5th Habitat for Humanity CEO Build & we tackled 4 new roofs for hardworking soon-to-be new homeowners. Affordable housing is a big challenge in Broward County Government. If we had more organizations like this, home ownership would be more attainable. Big thanks to the best
