Students need us. Pre-K to 12. They need our patience, engagement, empathy. They need our smiles, reassurance and trust. #teachmindful #EduBlogYear When we lean in, focus and communicate clear, concise expectations- they thrive. Not always together or on schedule but they will.

Whiteboards on desks/tables and spot checking with pop questions and challenges. Walking around and sitting down at tables and having conversations this means the most- building relationships and checking in #teachmindful

Provide students with a solution, an option of performance or results. Only tell them that. Provide a lot of tools, supplies, objects of experimentation and have them get their by designing an experiment or building g a model. Backwards design for them to get curious & creative.
