The Beacon Bulldogs defeated James I O'Neil 14-0 behind Joey Vollaro's no hitterin their season opener. Joey struck out 11 for the Bulldogs.  The no hitter was the first for Beacon since Lennie Torres Jr and Kevin Heady combined to no hit Yonkers on 4/17/17.

Bulldog Baseball defeated #4 seed New Paltz 3-2 to advance to Section 9 semifinals.Derrick Heaton pitched a comp game k’ing 5. Bulldogs scored the winning run on Fontaine double, wild pitch and a Heaton sac fly in the 6th. Bulldogs advance to face top seed Wallkill on Wed at 4:00
