Don’t mistake tough coaching as an enemy

• Hands upside down after a bad call
• Mad look when getting subbed
• Jogging back on defense after bad play
• Sitting on bench upset

Bad body language screams that you aren’t locked in mentally. Having positive body language helps athletes focus + improve their mental game

You can spend $1,000s on trainers, shooting coaches, shoes, gear etc but when the lights turn on, you got to have IT!

Seniors:

Very soon you’re going to be working a job, or sitting in a dorm room wishing…

• You could practice one more time
• Play in one more game
• Have one more team bus ride

You’re going to miss it more than you know. Stop stressing over playing time, points you scored…

When I was a player I wish I truly knew how much time and effort coaches put in to each day.
