Farmers say collapse of #CSC exposed them to middlemen who swindle them of their hard earned Cash. Call on government, abattoirs & private sector to open easily accessible or mobile abattoirs to save on transport costs.

4/5 Stock feed currently expensive??

Farmers tasked to look at alternative, highly nutritious and locally available fodder. FAO and other NGOs encouraging the use of lablab, velvet beans, crop residues etc, as alternative feed.

As abattoirs call upon the government to develop policies that enable them to export hides so that they can improve their incomes. Currently hides are being destroyed. Agricultural Marketing Authority
