RI State Police & Warwick Police are flooding the airport & the surrounding area right now. K9 teams, officers on foot & in cruisers are searching the area. No official info on what's going on yet... but there's no indication that there's any safety threat at the airport. WPRI 12

Man taken to the hospital after being stabbed during a fight near the Fall River bus station along Fourth St a short time ago. Police say there were reports of a “large knife” involved and describe the injury as serious. A 28 year old man was arrested. WPRI 12

Providence Police confirm a person was just taken to RI Hospital after being stabbed in the leg on Messer St. Cops tell me the injury isn’t considered life-threatening and that the victim knows the suspect. This occurred less than a block from the Messer St fire station. WPRI 12

A large response here in West Warwick after someone found what he's calling a hand grenade in a storage unit he just got into. A nearby daycare and neighbors were evacuated as a precaution, but the scene has been cleared and were told there's no danger. WPRI 12 Lauren Brill

A cloud of black smoke is emanating from a scrap metal yard fire on Allens Ave in Providence. Allens Ave is closed to traffic in the area of Thurbers Ave. WPRI 12

One of the worlds largest cargo aircraft, the Antonov An-124 at Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport this morning, loading up a boat from that’s being transported from here for the Americas Cup.

I’m sure that most of you have seen or heard of the large police presence in the Warwick Vets area.
I can’t give any details at this time but I can say that there is no longer a threat to public safety.
