Extensive and wide-ranging discussions on 🇨🇾-🇨🇳 bilateral relations, #EU - #China cooperation, the #Cyprus Question, as well as regional and international developments.

At the International Humanitarian Conference for #Sudan in Paris, the Republic of #Cyprus announced a further contribution of €100,000 through the World Food Programme

The need for humanitarian aid is urgent.

We call for an end to hostilities and for dialogue towards a peaceful solution.

The SG also met with PermSec Andreas Kakouris and visited the permanent exhibition on the history of the MFA.

I participated today at the informal teleconference of EU Foreign Ministers on the situation in the #MiddleEast .

My main message:

We are deeply concerned about the recent developments. De-escalation and self-restraint are paramount.
