I just arrived at a detailed explanation of the Michigan 1976 Ford v Reagan primary and thought “why am I reading this book?” Then I remembered I was boning up on Reaganism for columns on Liz Truss. I am a relatively quick reader but the book outlasted her.

In the leadership contest Nadine Dorries said that of Liz Truss that “She’s probably a stronger Brexiteer than both of us” & Jacob Rees-Mogg agreed. Now their allies are talking of a globalist (!) remainer coup. The only coup is the triumph of reality over delusion.
